Dr. Judy Linden Receives 2014 Community Clinician of the Year Award

Congratulations to Dr. Judy Linden, Vice Chair for Education and Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine, for receiving the Suffolk District Medical Society 2014 Community Clinician of the Year Award!

This award recognizes a physician from each of the Massachusetts Medical Society’s 20 state districts who has made significant contributions to his or her patients, his or her community and who also is a leader in his or her field.

Dr. Linden was cited for her expertise on caring for survivors of sexual assault. Her colleagues stated that “she has been a mentor for many medical students and residents over her career and has focused her research and professional activities on improving the care for survivors of sexual assault.”

The Suffolk District Medical Society is comprised of approximately 4,000 physicians in the Boston area. Dr. Linden received the award on April 3, 2014.
