Biography

Emily Lupez is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and a primary care physician in General Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center (BMC). She received her Doctor of Medicine from Wake Forest School of Medicine, Master of Public Health from the University of South Florida, and Master of Science in Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Boston Medical and a General Medicine Fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Cambridge Health Alliance.

Her research focuses on access to care for historically marginalized populations, specifically sexual and gender minorities and people with criminal justice involvement.
