The Faculty Affairs Office is pleased to announce that Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine/Hematology & Medical Oncology Gretchen Gignac, MD, has been named Distinguished Faculty of the Month for July.

Dr. Gignac is a medical oncologist at Boston Medical Center and an instructor in the hospital’s Hematology and Oncology Fellowship program. She joined our community in 2007.

Her nominators say, “Dr. Gignac is approachable and accessible to all of her colleagues.

“She welcomes the opportunities to engage in teaching and mentorship, and she’s highly committed to her patients and colleagues.

“Not only is she an excellent physician, her bedside manner is an A+!”
