The Dean’s Office is pleased to announce that Michael Romero has been named Distinguished Staff of the Month for September.

Michael is the senior program manager for the MS in Mental Health Counseling & Behavioral Medicine program. He joined our community in 2022.

His nominators say, “Michael regularly addresses student concerns, logistical problems, and organizational needs whenever they occur, with a proactive and positive demeanor.

“He took leadership with the Admissions Committee, working diligently behind the scenes to organize the admissions process, free up faculty for job responsibilities, and increase accessibility for applicants.

“Michael is always responsive, communicative, and considerate!”
