The Faculty Affairs Office is pleased to announce that Associate Professor of Medicine Marc Larochelle, MD, MPH, has been named Distinguished Faculty of the Month for April.

Dr. Larochelle is a national leader in health services and addiction research. He serves as associate chief for research in the section of general internal medicine (GIM) and director of the GIM-Family Medicine-Pediatrics Academic Fellowship.

His nominators say, “Dr. Larochelle captures what it truly means to be an exceptional mentor.

“He is generous with his time and patient with his counsel. He has a unique ability to balance guidance and direction, leveraging his expertise without dictating.
