Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine Faculty Receive Hariri Institute Awards

The Hariri Institute for Computing announced its FY26 Fellowship awards and FY27 Focused Research Program (FRP) awards, recognizing researchers advancing innovative work in computing, AI, and computational science and engineering across Boston University.

Two faculty members were awarded the special track health data science FRP, “Redefining Cognitive Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease Through Next-Generation Digital Cognitive Biomarkers“

Katherine Gifford, PsyD, associate professor, anatomy & neurobiology

This FRP also includes other Chobanian & Avedisian SOM community members as part of the research team.
