The Jerome S. Brody, MD, Professor of Pulmonary Medicine and Director of the Pulmonary Center, will receive the annual American Thoracic Society’s Recognition Award for Scientific Accomplishments.

The award is presented annually by BU’s Faculty Council in recognition of distinguished services to the University.
This year’s recipients are Ricardo Cruz, MD, MPH; Julia Bartolomeo, MD; Lillian Sosa, MS, CGC; Douglas Rosene, PhD, and Jia Jeannie Xu, MD.
