2024 U.S. News Graduate School Rankings Announced

Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine ranks No. 32 in research and No. 38 in primary care in the delayed release of the 2024 U.S. News & World Report rankings of the nation’s best graduate schools, announced today.

The school was tied at 32 in the research category with the University of Maryland and University of Rochester and ahead of Brown’s Warren Alpert Medical School (35), University of Massachusetts Medical School (44), Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine (48) and Tufts School of Medicine (53).

The methodology for the research ranking can be found here. The primary care rank considers the proportion of a school’s graduates entering residencies in family medicine, pediatrics and internal medicine – meaning that the rank in this category varies with the percentage of students in each graduating class pursuing those fields.
