Loretta Dyson Named August’s Distinguished Staff of the Month

The Dean’s Office is pleased to announce that Loretta Dyson has been named Distinguished Staff of the Month for August.

The Associate Registrar for the MD program, Loretta is a long-time member of the School of Medicine Registrar’s Office. Her nominators say, “Over the years she has always gone above and beyond, taking on added responsibility at both the University and nationally, serving on committees at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).

“Loretta has mentored and advised hundreds of students. She has spent numerous hours helping them negotiate life as medical students. She also is very giving of her time and expertise to peers across the University.

“There is no one more deserving of being distinguished staff of the month than Loretta Dyson.”
