Samantha Rawlins-Pilgrim, MD, MSc

Biography

Samantha Rawlins-Pilgrim, MD, MSc is the Director of Population Health at BHCHP and an Instructor of Medicine at Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. She graduated from the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine where she was part of the Program in Medical Education for the Urban Underserved (PRIME-US), a program focused on preparing medical students to be leaders in promoting health equity and caring for urban underserved populations. She completed residency training in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine–including a Chief Residency in Internal Medicine–at Boston Medical Center. During her residency training she earned a Master of Science degree in Health Services and Systems Research from the Boston University School of Public Health. Dually board certified in Internal Medicine and Public Health and General Preventive Medicine and certified as an HIV Specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine, her clinical and research interests are in primary care for underserved populations as well as HIV/AIDS care and prevention.
