Monica Donovan, MD

Biography

Monica Donovan, MD is an Instructor of Family Medicine at Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and a Family Practitioner at Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Donovan attended medical school at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

"I decided to go into medicine because I wanted a challenge. I am very analytical and medicine provides me with a host of issues to work on! I also thought working with people would be fun. I came to San Jose Medical Center because I liked the medical center, and the doctors here are excellent. We think it is important to practice preventive medicine. I also have interests in adolescent medicine and women's health. Although my practice includes adults of all ages, I have a special interest in the care of young adults. I am a member of the Young Adult Clinic, which specializes in medical care and wellness services for adults ages 18-25."
