Biography

Dr. Lynne Goldberg graduated AOA from Downstate Medical Center in 1986. She completed a residency in internal medicine at New York University School of Medicine in 1989, and then did her residency in dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, finishing in 1992. Lynne is renowned as an authority on the subject of alopecia and is an invited speaker on the subject at national as well as international meetings. She has authored multiple manuscripts and book chapters on the clinical and histopathologic aspects of alopecia. She has mentored several recipients of the Women’s Dermatologic Society’s prestigious mentorship award, and served on the Program Committee of the American Society of Dermatopathology from 2002 to 2006, chairing the Committee from 2006 to 2007.
