Biography

Dr. Elizabeth L Mitchell, MD is a Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine, Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. She received her MD from Case Western Reserve University and completed her residency at Denver General Hospital. Dr. Mitchell has special interest in Narrative Medicine (NM) and Medical Humanities. Her writing has been published in JAMA, Annals of Emergency Medicine, The Boston Globe, The New York Times, Kevin MD and other sites as well. She has run workshops on NM for multiple conferences as well as at locally.
