Clerkship/Clinical Rotations and Medical Education Collections

The Alumni Medical Library recently added two OVID Lippincott Williams and Wilkins (LWW) Health Library learning resource subscriptions: Clerkship/Clinical Rotations and the Medical Education collection. The LWW Health Library provides interactive online access to essential texts, images, specifically designed for real-life case studies and quiz banks. These appear on the Credentialing and Medical Education subject pages and the Electronic books page. Here is a summary of the two collections:

Clerkship/Clinical Rotations
Provides core texts needed for each of the core clerkship rotations; 39 highly recognized titles and clerkship-specific series for Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Surgery, Family Medicine, and Psychiatry. Plus key titles for the clerkships, previously only available in print: Step-up, Recall, Blueprints, Shelf Life, Board Review Series (BRS).

Medical Education collection provides over 35 fundamental texts, covering key areas of study—anatomical sciences, pathology, and biochemistry. Also included are over 600 cases—allowing students to review for exam or utilize for presentation prep. Q&A covers 4,800 questions to reinforce learned content and exam preparation.
