Deadlines
Initial applications are accepted only through the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS). Information and application materials are available at www.aamc.org.
The primary application can be completed between between June 1 and November 1, but early application is strongly recommended.
Timetable for application and acceptance for the entering class of 2012:
Routine Application
Receipt of AMCAS application: June 1, 2011 – November 1, 2011
Receipt of all secondary materials: June 15, 2011 – January 3, 2012
Interviews (by invitation only): Early October 2011 – Mid-February 2012
Earliest notice of acceptance: Mid-January 2012
Early Decision Application
Receipt of AMCAS application: June 1, 2011 – August 1, 2011
Receipt of all secondary materials: June 15, 2011 – August 15, 2011
Interviews (by invitation only): Mid-August 2011 – Mid-September 2011
Notice of acceptance: Prior to October 2, 2011
Applicants interested in applying Early Decision must contact the Dean of Admissions as soon as possible before the formal application process.
