About the Program
Our 1-year non-ACGME accredited fellowship program exposes our fellows to a high volume of diverse and complex pathology through multiple imaging modalities, with emphasis on MRI and CT. Our training program is designed to produce outstanding experts in abdominal imaging, who will be well prepared for academic or private practice faculty positions.
A major strength of our hospital is our high-volume Emergency Department with Level 1 trauma center, which is the busiest in all of New England. Fellows gain exposure not only to imaging in the setting of acute traumatic injury, but also a wide variety of acute illnesses in the abdomen and pelvis.
All studies are obtained with cutting edge equipment including the latest dual-energy CT scanners, as well as 3T MRI. Through intensive exposure to a wide variety of pathology in the abdomen and pelvis, our fellows build practical expertise that will be highly sought after as practicing radiologists.
