APA Annual Meeting 2019

We had a great showing at this year’s APA Annual Meeting in San Francisco.  Dr Henderson and Dr Renner both received prestigious awards.

Here are the workshops and posters that were presented:
Lisa R. Fortuna, MD, MPH, MDiv presented a workshop titled “Trauma Inflicted to Immigrant Children and Parents Through Policy of Forced Family Separation.”

Michelle P. Durham, MD, MPH presented a workshop titled “Finding Your Match: The Process of Obtaining Residency Positions.”

John Renner, MD presented three workshops titled “Buprenorphine and Office Based Treatment of Opioid Use Disorder,” “Treating Opioid Use Disorder: What every psychiatrist should know,” and “Innovative Approaches to the Opioid Epidemic.”

Ozan Toy, MD, PGY3 resident presented a poster titled “Psychosis in a Young Female with Multiple Sclerosis.”
