Her research interests include optimizing perinatal education and shared decision-making and promoting physiologic birth while preventing primary cesarean birth. She uses quality improvement, implementation science, and human-centered design methods to advance perinatal care. She designed, recruited, and convened a Pregnancy Advisory Board as a core group of partners with lived experience to guide human-centered design in implementation science work at Boston Medical Center. In collaboration with Boston Medical Center Marketing and Communication and the Pregnancy Advisory Board, she developed a comprehensive online pregnancy education and resource center for multilingual communities in the greater Boston area.
