Biography
Expertise includes the practice of Internal Medicine, both outpatient and inpatient, with emphasis on the care of patients with infectious diseases including HIV, as well as transgender health care. I am also interested in the health care of patients with mental illness. As a medical educator, my interests include clinical teaching of Internal Medicine, with emphasis on clinical decision making, communication skills, evidence based medicine, the humanities in medicine, and nurturing spirituality and wellness.
