Biography
After graduation from the University of Connecticut, Pulaski attended the Maryknoll School of Theology. He worked for seven years as a Maryknoll lay minister in Cochabamba, Bolivia, where he coordinated youth programs in a large urban parish and developed self-help projects to improve conditions in the barrios, the poor sections of the Bolivian cities. "Medicine is one of few professions in which I can integrate my desire to perform humanitarian services, " said Pulaski before the 1991 Match Day at the Boston University School of Medicine.
