Biography

Dr. Shen joined the faculty of the Section of General Internal Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine in 2025. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong academic foundation, holding a BSN, MSN, and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Her clinical expertise includes hematology/oncology, primary care, internal medicine, and clinical research. She is committed to academic medicine, with interests in teaching, clinical research, and evidence-based practice. Her clinical interests focus on bridging the gap between research and patient care to improve quality, enhance safety, and drive innovation in healthcare delivery.
