Biography
Dr. Foster is a nurse scientist and Assistant Professor of Medicine, in the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. She is a Research Investigator in the Center for Healthcare Optimization and Implementation Research (CHOIR) at the Boston, Massachusetts VA Medical Center. Her research interests include digital health technology, management of cardiovascular and cardiovascular related diseases, implementation science and health equity. She earned her PhD in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, her Master’s in Nursing Education from the University of Rhode Island, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rhode Island College. Dr. Foster was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the VA Advanced Fellowship Program in Medical Informatics at VA Boston Healthcare System.
