Biography
Education:
Kathleen Neimann obtained a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, Storrs in 2011. Kathleen then obtained a Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester in 2015.
Nursing Experience:
She worked as an R.N. (Registered Nurse) at Hartford Hospital from 2012-2014, on a medical/surgical telemetry floor that had a focus on patients with Cystic Fibrosis. She worked as an R.N. on a hematology/oncology floor at UMass Medical Center's University Campus from 2014 to 2016. From 2015 to 2016 she worked as a travel R.N. in California, at Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa and at University of San Diego Hillcrest.
Nurse Practitioner Experience:
Kathleen worked as a Nurse Practitioner from 2016 to 2021 at Manet Community Health Center in Quincy, Massachusetts. There, she provided primary care and addiction services to an independent panel of over 900 patients.
She now works as a Nurse Practitioner for BMC's Inpatient Addiction Consult Service Team. She is passionate about helping patients with their recovery goals.
