Biography
I am a clinical researcher dedicated to creating spaces and accessibility to optimal cancer care for historically marginalized populations. I am passionate about utilizing human-centered design and implementation science to create patient-tailored resources for innovative cancer care. I am focused on building multi-contextual disease education access to improve patient communication with providers and the health care system. I have a special interest of applying these skills to further risk communication, community engagement, and capacity building for HTLV-1 at-risk populations and individuals with limited English proficiency. I am currently working to incorporating health literacy universal precautions into clinical care through building language concordant educational materials.
