Biography

Lorenzo Silvestri, MD is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Boston University School of Medicine. He is also a retired medical officer from the Italian Airborne Brigade. After he retired, he moved to the US with his family to start a postgrad fellowship at BUSM. His main interests are the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal pathologies affecting veterans and conducting lab research on cartilage biology and restoration, where he often serves as PI.
