Biography

Dr. Kimberly Schwartz is a pediatrician in Boston, Massachusetts and is affiliated with Boston Medical Center. She received her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

Dr. Schwartz is an academic Child Abuse Pediatrician who works to clarify and communicate information in a way that widens people’s perspective, empowering them to make decisions that will help keep children safe.

She aspires to collaborate with teams of people on projects for improving communication in medicine and child protection, and to lecture and run workshops for various disciplines to facilitate improved communication in healthcare through a culture of collaboration.

Dr. Schwartz aims to infuse the life-course perspective into pediatric training for medical school students and residents, and to bring a clinical perspective to public health students. She believes that mentoring students is a critical mechanism to promote improved communication and understanding of both clinical and public health issues.
