Did you know?  Research shows that participants of randomized control trials have access to new treatments, close clinical monitoring, and overall better health outcomes.  Inclusivity is important to ensure that results can be generalized to the entire patient population.

BU Dermatology is committed to offering clinical trial opportunities to our diverse patient population at Boston Medical Center.  We are striving to include patients from all backgrounds and skin types and have partnered with the Boston University General Clinical Research Unit (72 E Concord St, Boston MA) to conduct clinical trials in dermatology.

Ongoing Clinical Trials:

A Phase 2A, Multicenter, Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo‑controlled, 16-Week Study Evaluating the Safety and Efficacy of PF-06650833, PF-06700841, and PF-06826647 in adults with Moderate to Severe Hidradenitis Suppurativa.  This study is currently closed to enrollment.

Stay tuned for additional trials for hidradenitis suppurativa and atopic dermatitis in adult and pediatric patients!
