Biography
Dr. Sarah Weintraub is a part‐ time psychologist at VA Boston who balances VA work with a private practice in Cambridge, MA. She works with the Primary Care Behavioral Health team (PCBH) in West Roxbury and General Mental Health clinic (GMH) in Jamaica Plain. Dr. Weintraub pursued her graduate studies at Harvard University and Boston College, and completed her Psychology Internship at the VA Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. She came to VA Boston for a clinical Postdoctoral Fellowship. Dr. Weintraub provides brief and longer‐term psychotherapy to veterans struggling with a range of mood, anxiety, trauma‐ and stressor‐related, and psychotic disorders. She believes strongly in reducing stigma of mental health treatment and increasing veterans’ access to quality care. Dr. Weintraub uses an integrative therapy approach that incorporates relational, CBT, and acceptance‐based strategies, including DBT.
