Biography

Dr. Omid Salehi is a board-certified general surgeon serving as an Attending General and ACS Surgeon at Boston Medical Center Brighton. He earned his MD from Tufts University and completed his residency in General Surgery at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center (2016–2024), and is also undertaking a Surgical Oncology Research Fellowship at Roger Williams Medical Center in 2026. His work spans impactful research in cancer care, minimally invasive surgery, and healthcare disparities, with over 40 peer-reviewed publications and numerous lectures and conference podium presentations. Dr. Salehi is actively involved in professional societies and medical education, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing surgical care and patient outcomes.
