Biography

Maria Stefanidou, MD is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Assistant Director of Neurology Clerkship at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. After earning her medical diploma in Greece she worked as a rural service doctor. She is currently mentoring two medical students on projects involving epilepsy and intracerebral hemorrhage, two of her research interests. On the first two Tuesdays of every other month she teaches EEG interpretation and Epilepsy lectures for BUMC Neurology Residents and BU medical students.
