Biography
Dana Worley, MSN, CRNA, is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Boston Medical Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Louisiana State University Medical Center, New Orleans, LA. She completed her nurse anesthesia training through the Carolinas HealthCare System Nurse Anesthesia Program at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, NC.
With over two decades of clinical experience, Ms. Worley specializes in providing high-quality anesthesia care across diverse surgical settings. Her professional expertise includes perioperative patient management, ensuring safety and comfort during complex procedures. She has served as a staff CRNA at esteemed institutions, including Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC, and University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. Her research contributions include a peer-reviewed article on advanced nursing practice prescriptive authority published in the Journal of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Ms. Worley is a dedicated educator, having served as Adjunct Faculty in the Graduate Nurse Anesthesia Program at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, where she mentored and trained aspiring CRNAs. She is a recipient of multiple honors, including the Most Outstanding Graduate Awards for both her BSN and MSN programs and the E. Marie McManus Award for Outstanding CRNA in 2004 and 2018.
Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and holding CRNA licenses in multiple states, including Massachusetts, Ms. Worley is also certified in AHA PALS, ACLS, and BLS.
