Surrounded by family, faculty and friends, they became the fifth PA student class to don their white coats at BUSM.
Anita Knopov BUSM’19 is the lead author of a study published in the Journal of the National Medical Association.
Wearing their white coats, students gathered with fellow demonstrators at City Hall Plaza carrying signs that read, “Protect the Children,” “Immigrants Make America Great,” and “Separating Families is Bad for Health.”
The six-week seminar focuses on integrating nutrition and diet education through cooking and counseling techniques.
Leighanne Ormston placed third in the 2018 Ruth and William Silen, MD, Award for the Microbiology, Immunology, Genetics, or Molecular Biology Category for her poster presentation.
Nina Gummadi aims to characterize mental health issues, as well as barriers to mental health care, in orphaned or abandoned children in India.
