Effective Jan. 1, 2022, the associate professor of physiology & biophysics, replaces Deborah Stearns-Kurosawa, PhD, who stepped down from the role at the end of 2021.

Megan Bair-Merritt, MD, MSCE, and Tuhina Neogi, MD, PhD, have been awarded a two-year $550,000 grant funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation through the COVID-19 Fund to Retain Clinical Scientists Collaborative. BUSM is among 22 medical schools receiving funding to help researchers with caregiving responsibilities continue their important contributions to scientific discovery.
