As President of USU, Woodson will be responsible for the academic, research and service mission of the university.

Work aims to address the challenges of dementia research and mental health systems research in India.
She is the inaugural recipient of the award, which will be presented annually to faculty who have done an extraordinary job at addressing and improving diversity and a culture of inclusion throughout the School.
