Topping Off Ceremony Held at New Student Residence

A significant milestone has been reached at the new Student Residence — the topping off ceremony marking the completion of the steel erection phase was held on Friday, May 13. The crane is now no longer required and is down. In addition the top track layout for the wall studs on the second and third floors has been completed.

Significant progress has been made at the new student residence on Albany Street. Many phases of the construction are now nearing completion including:

* First and second floor slabs – completed!
* Steel framing – complete by May 13!
* Crane work – complete by May 13!
