Seshadri Authors Text on Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease

Sudha Seshadri, MD, professor of Neurology, BUSM and Senior Investigator, Framingham Study, together with Stéphanie Debette, MD, PhD, neurologist at Bordeaux University Hospital, have published a new reference guide, which paints a complete picture of current understanding of the epidemiology of strokes and cerebrovascular disease.

Risk Factors for Cerebrovascular Disease and Stroke published by Oxford University Press compiles the current research on the environmental and genetic risk factors as well as the epidemiology of the vascular disease of the brain. The book draws on research from leading stroke investigators from the United States and Europe to carefully parse out the difference in risk factors for each type of stroke and subclinical disease.
