Stethoscopes for Class of 2016—Alumni Make it Possible

“We are very aware of the high cost of attending medical school and providing stethoscopes is one more step in easing the financial burden on our students,” explained Jean Ramsey, MD, Associate Dean for Alumni Affairs. “This is another example of the generosity of our alumni.”

Each stethoscope came with a note from the BUSM Alumni Association and the name of the alumnus or alumna who made the contribution. Each student in turn wrote a thank you message to the graduate who made the gift possible. This program was initiated by Dean Karen Antman, MD, in 2007.
