Mission: 

The mission of Medical Portuguese is to expose students to the Portuguese language through regular lessons emphasizing medical vocabulary, conversational skills, and pronunciation. We are also committed to establishing partnerships with the Brazilian, Cape Verdean, and Portuguese communities at Boston University and in the greater Boston area to organize cultural events and elevate their presence on campus. Finally, we hope to engage with community leaders and representatives so that we can understand how to better serve Portuguese-speaking patients at Boston Medical Center.
