Biography

Kazem Azadzoi, MD, MA. is a Professor of Pathology and Urology at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. He is also the Director of Urology Research at Boston University. In clinical studies, Dr. Azadzoi and colleagues documented decreased bladder and prostate blood flow with aging and reported a close correlation between pelvic ischemia and the development of LUTS and ED in the male patients. Dr. Azadzoi collaborates with other researchers in the national and international organizations. His research laboratories provide a conductive environment for productive research, teaching, training, scientific communication and collaboration. In addition to his research, he has been a reviewer for the Journal of Urology for 28 years and in 2015 he received the Best Reviewer Award by the American Urological Association.
