Biography

Dr. Conley, MD is a practicing Anesthesiologist at Boston Medical Center, with board certifications in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology. Dr. Conley graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in 2006 and has been in practice for 10 years. Dr. Conley serves as Director of Pediatric Anesthesia at BMC, where he oversees inpatient and outpatient pediatric anesthesia in the operating rooms, diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology and endoscopy. Over the past decade, Dr. Conley has had a profound impact on the care of neonates and children as the founder of Boston Medical Center’s Virtual Pediatric Perioperative Home, or VPPH. The VPPH streamlines the pre-operative care of high-risk and medical complicated children who require anesthesia for procedures or diagnostic imaging. Dr. Conley has also developed interdisciplinary educational sessions on topics ranging from pediatric airway management to perioperative risk assessment in children. He serves as the associate program director for Boston University’s residency program in anesthesiology. His research and scholarly interests include perioperative optimization and risk assessment in children, feedback in graduate medical education, healthcare worker wellness and the second victim phenomenon.
