Biography

Aram V. Kaligian, MD, MPH is a board-certified family physician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and clinical associate professor of family medicine at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Kaligian joined the faculty with a practice based at Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center in Dorchester, where he was the Family Medicine unit director. He currently practices at South Boston Community Health Center. Dr. Kaligian was formerly Medical Director of the Family Medicine Inpatient Service at Boston Medical Center. At present, he is the Director of the Boston University – Armenia Medical Partnership, whose current projects include reform of the Armenian post-graduate medical education system, a fellowship program to retrain family physicians in remote areas of the country, and a community healthworker program in Syunik province, the southernmost region of Armenia.
