Interventional Radiology Interest Group

Mission:

  • The mission of the Interventional Radiology Interest Group is to expose students to the field of interventional radiology and foster involvement throughout their medical school tenure, with an endpoint of preparing students to pursue a variety of academic and research careers.

Goals:

  • In conjunction with interventional radiology faculty and residents, we will host panel discussions and workshops to introduce students to what a career in interventional radiology entails, create early opportunities for mentor-student relationships to facilitate shadowing and research, and educate students about the residency program application process. Through these opportunities, we hope to enable medical students to make informed decisions regarding a possible future career in interventional radiology.
