The two-year, $250,000 grant from the Harry J. Lloyd Charitable Trust will enable her to further basic science research on the molecular and cellular biology of melanoma.
The four-year project focuses on the connections of heart and brain health, specifically in the areas of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
The nomination states, “She is a true advocate for our patients and an excellent mentor.”
