2/22/19 LCME Update

Our LCME accreditation site visit begins at 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25. For three days, the LCME committee of five senior faculty, in 21 sessions, will meet with more than 220 participants including deans, chairs, administrators, faculty, and students. Based on the team’s findings, the LCME will evaluate our policies and procedures compared to the 12 LCME standards and 93 elements, and determine if we are in compliance.

To achieve our best outcome from the site visit, we must remain focused on providing a high-value education in a collegial and respectful learning environment surrounded by cutting-edge research in spaces that inspire us to do our best work.

Over the next three days, we ask for your assistance:

• Please keep offices, labs, work places and Medical Student Residence
  rooms tidy.
• If you experience any issues or see any areas in need of maintenance or repair, as always, please contact the Control Center at 617-638-4144.
• Please acquaint yourself with the information included in our last LCME Update.
