Dr. Feldman is Vice Chair of Research for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center as well as Professor of Emergency Medicine at Boston University. He serves as Chair of the Institutional Review Board (Panel Blue, Boston University Medical Campus and Boston Medical Center). He is a member of the Committee on Publications (NEJM) for the Massachusetts Medical Society and an active member of MACEP. He also is a member of the SAEM Research Directors Interest Group and NERDS (New England Research Directors). His interests include clinical research, research ethics, and medical writing and reviewing. Dr. Feldman serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, the Annals of Emergency Medicine, and the Journal of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Feldman is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Feldman graduated from Harvard in 1976 and received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1980. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Boston City Hospital in 1983 and has been a member of the Emergency Medicine faculty at BU School of Medicine since 1983.
