Office of Human Research Affairs (OHRA)

The Office of Human Research Affairs (OHRA) is responsible for the oversight of human research at Boston Medical Center and the three schools on the Boston University Medical Campus (Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, Public Health, and the Goldman School of Dental Medicine) to assure that we meet the ethical and regulatory expectations. OHRA accomplishes this through its robust Human Research Protection Program (HRPP).

Human Subject Research Studies Partnership with SEMC

Our partnership with St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center (SEMC) has developed creative research collaborations. To assist in this growing research partnership, we have created a searchable online resource that lists more than 1,000 ongoing human subject research opportunities at BUMC and SEMC.
