Biography

I am a west coast native, born and raised in Southern California. I did my undergraduate studies at the University of California Los Angeles and I received my medical school training in sunny Florida, but I knew my heart was here, so I was very excited to be able to return to California. I was fortunate to train at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center in Family Medicine, and then to stay on for an additional fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine. Given the excellent training I received, it was a very easy decision for me to stay on with Kaiser Permanente for my practice. Thus far, one of the highlights of being a Kaiser Permanente physician was the opportunity to work at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles. It was a very rewarding experience to use my primary care and sports medicine skills to provide care for over 7000 athletes from all over the world.

As an osteopathic physician, my philosophy of care is centered around the notion that the body is a unit, and that each patient has the power to heal themselves with the aid of modern medicine. I am passionate about sports and musculoskeletal medicine, as well as promoting prevention, a healthy active lifestyle, and a positive state of mind.
