Susan White, MD, has been named Director of the Physician Assistant (PA) program.
Most recently serving as Director ad interim, Dr. White has been with the PA program since its inception in 2013 as Director of Didactic Education. A graduate of Wesleyan University and Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. White practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic, Nashua, NH, after residency. In 2007, she joined the faculty at MCPHS University’s PA Program in Manchester, NH, and served as Program Director from 2010-13.
A 2014-15 Gold Humanism Scholar at the Harvard Macy Institute Program for Educators, Dr. White is Chair of the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) Exam Development Board for Women’s Health, Pediatrics and Psychiatry National End of Rotation Exams for PA students as well as a member of the BU Community Health Alliance of Medical Professions (CHAMPS) Leadership Team.
