Rachel Flynn Named GSI Co-director

Rachel Flynn, PhD, has been named Co-director of the Genome Science Institute (GSI) and will begin her new role April, 1, 2019. Dr. Flynn is an assistant professor in Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics and her lab researches the genomics of Alternative Telomere maintenance pathways in cancers. Dr. Flynn has served on several past Genetics and Genomics search committees. As Co-director she will assist the GSI in developing more resources in genomics tools, analytical methods and connect cancer genomics labs with the GSI.
