Facilities
Our facilities include newly renovated biosafety level 2 and 2+ laboratories in the Evans Biomedical Research Center, a building that houses Boston University and Boston Medical Center research laboratories, promoting cross-collaboration between biomedical researchers and physicians at the forefront of patient care.
Several of our faculty are members of the National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL) that houses biosafety level 2, 3, and 4 facilities to allow the study of emerging and highly pathogenic agents. The NEIDL is a university center comprising researchers from multiple departments, again promoting a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
